The field is flourishing at Ohio State, where there is a substantial curriculum and an active group of 20-30 graduate students in the field. The graduate program regularly attracts well-prepared students of all kinds, including those with civilian backgrounds as well as military backgrounds. The military history program is also closely associated with the University's Mershon Center.
