My MA thesis examined U.S. Army pilot training programs in WWI as examples of Progressive Era themes. My dissertation will extend the pilot training topic across cultures to include German, British, and French responses to the war's demands. My major field is Military history with minor fields in both modern U.S. (Gilded Age & Progressive Era) and modern Europe.
