MultiMedia Histories

The OSU Department of History's MultiMedia Histories has moved! Please visit our new home on OSU's eHistory site. The links below now take to you to the new pages on the eHistory site. Click here for more information on eHistory.

The Department of History Web Projects:
Originally called "Internet Documentaries", the histories were first created in the mid 90s by Professor Austin Kerr who understood the educational usefulness of the Internet early on. The collection grew to some 17 documentaries, many of them produced by Professor Kerr himself, and included the popular Prohibition documentary Temperance and Prohibition.

With the exception of Old Columbus and Thomas Nast, the titles now link to their new home on the eHistory site. We also feature new histories such as Responses to Immigration and Purchasing the American Dream.
