Phi Alpha Theta Membership
The National Phi Alpha Theta organization sets the membership requirements. Adapted for the Ohio State University situation of a quarter system, the requirements are listed below:
- undergraduate at Ohio State University
- 20 hours of college level history
- upper 35% class rank.
- minimum GPA of 3.15 (on a 4.0 scale)
- in addition the student must have a GPA ration of 3.0 on his or her remaining course work
*Dues for joining are $35.00. (These dues include a one-year subscription to The Historian, and one year of membership in the Zeta chapter.)
Members may compete for scholarships and prizes awarded by the national organization.
