R. David Edmunds, Anne Stark Watson and Chester Watson Professor of History, University of Texas at Dallas. Prof. Edmunds is a prize-winning historian of Native Americans and the American West and author or editor of ten books and over one hundred essays, articles, and other shorter publications.
