As Digital Media and Learning Systems Specialist, Laura provides course systems support, handles our ten web sites and social media presence, and provides end user support for departmental technology. She also supports department faculty, staff, and students in the use of college and university learning platforms; manages contract programmers and Goldberg Center student staff; and coordinates with college and external programming groups to resolve problems. Laura handles content development, site building and oversees outsourced programming work. She is also a Learning Systems (Carmen) Affiliate. She periodically creates internships and supervises interns in the Goldberg Center.

Laura serves as Video Production Specialist for the Department of History, Origins: Current Events in Historical Perspective, and Picturing Black History. She establishes strategies, schedules, and management plans to produce videos and digital content. Laura edits and produces videos and digital history projects. She trains graduate students in video production. Laura also manages departmental digital signage.
