Seminar in Russian, East European, and Eurasian History

Russia

The Ohio State University Seminar in Russian, East European, and Eurasian History is sponsored by the Center for Slavic and East European Studies and the Department of History. It is a forum where scholars may present drafts of book chapters, dissertation chapters, articles, or other work-in-progress. Papers will be circulated in advance and then discussed in a workshop-style format, with seminar participants offering questions and comments to the presenter. The seminar is open to all faculty and graduate students, whether at Ohio State or at other universities in the Midwest, and is intended to foster a sense of community among historians with similar areas of interest. Please follow the links below for more information. Anyone with questions about the seminar should contact David Hoffmann (hoffmann.218@osu.edu).

OSU Faculty in Russian, East European, and Eurasian History: Nicholas Breyfogle, Mary Cavender, Theodora Dragostinova, David Hoffmann, Scott Levi, Jennifer Siegel.  More information is available on the Russian, East European, and Eurasian History field at OSU.
