Purpose

The Clio Society has four principal goals:

1. Promote the life-long learning of history for personal enrichment
2. Engage students, colleagues, and friends in the exchange of information and ideas about history outside of the realm of traditional academic classes and seminar
3. Build a social network of student, colleagues, and friends who share a common interest in history
4. Provide a sustained, broad-based support for the History Department.
