Aidan Morris Wins Award at Denman Forum

Congratulations to Aidan Morris! He placed second the "Domestic and International Relations" category at the Denman Forum.
Aidan's thesis title is: "Disease in the British Army in India: Colonial Investigations and Interventions (1863-1900)"
Aidan's thesis investigates how Victorian conceptions of health, race, and morality influenced British public health practice and malarial prophylaxis in colonial India and how these practices changed over time, especially in response to the bacterial revolution in the late 19th century.
Professor Alice Conklin was Aidan's advisor and Professor Chris Otter is an advisor on his thesis defense committee. Aidan is a senior history major.
