Last Friday the ribbon cutting ceremony for Dr. Kent "Kip" Curtis' microfarm project took place in Mansfield. Funded by the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research, it involves the creation of four new microfarms to provide produce for the area. Coverage of the story was carried out by the Mansfield News Journal and WMFD news television. One of his interns was also profiled in a story by the Lantern.
