Prof. Hasan Kwame Jeffries

Professor Hasan Kwame Jeffries has been named Montpelier Foundation Board Chairperson. He spoke to WVIR NBC29 about his new position and said one of the goals of the board is to achieve financial stability and growth of the organization. He added that the growth would include memorialization of the Montpelier enslaved community, and noted that Montpelier is a presidential space where history happened and history needs to be told.
