As Digital Media and Distance Learning Specialist, Laura provides distance learning support, handles our web sites and social media presence, and provides end user support for departmental technology. She also supports department faculty, staff, and students in the use of college and university web platforms; manages contract programmers and Goldberg Center student staff; and coordinates with college and external programming groups to resolve problems. Laura handles content development, site building and oversees outsourced programming work. She is also a Carmen Affiliate. She periodically creates internships and supervises interns in the Goldberg Center.
Laura serves as Video Production Specialist for the Department of History and Origins: Current Events in Historical Perspective. She establishes strategies, schedules, and management plans to produce videos and digital content. She coordinates video studio appointments and serves as videographer at live presentations. Laura edits and produces videos and digital history projects. She also manages digital signage and creates animations.
