HISTORY 2040: History of Agriculture and Rural America

This course is a broad survey of the economic, social, and political history of agriculture and the countryside from the pre-Columbian period to the present. The course focuses on labor, abundance, political activism, public policy, and technology, and traces their interactions and changes over time.
Prereq or concur: English 1110.xx, or permission of instructor. GE historical study course.
