Study of slavery as an institution and ideology of ancient Greece and Rome, including its importance in the ancient family, economy, and culture. Prereq or concur: English 1110.xx, or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for Clas 3202 or History 3213H. GE for cultures and ideas and historical study course.
