HISTORY 2002H: Making America Modern

Examines twentieth century American history in a global perspective, with special emphasis on the themes of industrial, military, and global expansion, as well as the expansion of civil and political rights of the American people.
Prereq or concur: Honors standing, and English 1110.xx; or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for 2002. GE historical study and diversity soc div in the US course. GE foundation historical and cultural studies course.
