In a new article, "History's Oldest Roads Shaped Civilizations Since 4000 B.C." for Discover Magazine, Amanda Respess shares, "The Silk Road was a network of roads that ran across a large land mass and all kinds of goods and also ideas were moving through this space. We have archeological evidence showing that these trade routes go back all the way to the Bronze Age around 2000 B.C."
