His dissertation title is “The Lost Cause Triumphant: Politics, and Culture in the Construction of White Supremacy in North Carolina, 1890-1928” it focuses on the relationship between the United Daughters of the Confederacy and Democratic politicians in North Carolina. His advisor is Prof. Joan Cashin.
