Congratulations to María Hammack!

Congratulations to María Hammack on being awarded the 2024-2025 Rodica C. Botoman Award!
Established July 2006 by the Board of Trustees at The Ohio State University with gifts from Ben M. Jones, III, a former Columbus businessman, and Dr. V. Alin Botoman (B.S. 1975), son of George and Rodica Botoman. The Rodica C. Botoman Award for Distinguished Undergraduate Teaching and Mentoring supports a member of the Humanities faculty who best exemplifies excellence as a teacher of undergraduates. While the emphasis is on outstanding performance in the classroom, the selection committee also considered the nominee's performance as mentor or advisor and use of innovative teaching strategies for the advancement of learning. Dr. Hammack was nominated by several students, who in their nominations attested to the lasting impression she made upon them.
