Congratulations to Patrick Potyondy who has received his PhD in history!

Patrick's dissertation title is, "Making, Preserving, and Redeveloping Public Housing in the United States". He states, "This project examines the public history of public housing both in regards to Columbus, Ohio's first and all-black public housing community, Poindexter Village, and nationally through the 33 locations listed on the National Register of Historic Places." Professors Steven Conn, Lilia Fernández, Clayton Howard and David Staley served on his dissertation committee.

Patrick's research was also instrumental in the development of a virtual reality project about Poindexter Village which will open at COSI in Columbus later this month. The following are images from his research.
