Introduction to the principles, methods, and history of archaeological investigation in the ancient Greek and Roman world, illustrated through a selection of major classical sites. Prereq or concur: English 1110.xx. Not open to students with credit for 306, Clas 2301 (240), or HistArt 2301 (306). GE cultures and ideas and historical study and diversity global studies course.
