History Ph.D. student and poet Katie Mooney was chosen to read two of her poems at the "Poets Reading the News" Inauguration Performance on Saturday, January 23rd. She also had a poem published in Visible Magazine, entitled “lotus flower,” which can be read here. Gaining wide appeal, she will soon have another poem published in a BIPOC journal on January 31st. Katie publishes poetry under her Korean name, Hyun-Joo Kim.
